We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tool Maker to join our client based in Worksop within the Tool Room team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where quality, precision, and continuous improvement are key.
You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and examination of a wide range of injection mould and metal press tooling, ensuring all work meets company standards and supports production efficiency.
- Carry out fault finding, tool repair, corrections, and modifications

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with company quality policies and procedures

Interpret and work from CAD drawings to complete tooling tasks

Operate authorised machinery and equipment safely and effectively (Milling, Turning, Laser, Lathe)

Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the department

Follow and promote lean manufacturing practices (5S+, documentation, standardised working methods)

Work closely with other departments to ensure strong team collaboration

Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including company life-saving rules

Participate in training and development as agreed with the Tool Room Team Leader
- Engineering qualification (essential)

Previous experience in a tooling, toolmaking, or similar engineering role

Ability to read and interpret technical/CAD drawings

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment

Good communication and teamwork skills
- Structured shift pattern (Monday–Friday rotation)
