We are currently recruiting Hospitality Assistants and Kitchen Porters to support catering and hospitality operations at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at the iconic Old Course, St Andrews.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a world-renowned sporting event, gain valuable experience, and be part of a professional, fast-paced team.
Event Dates
Sunday 28th September - Saturday 4th October
All candidates must be available to work every event day.
Shift Times
Approximately 9:00am - 5:00pm daily
Pay
£14.24/hr (£12.71 base rate + £1.53 holiday pay) for 21s & over & £12.61/hr (£11.25 + £1.44 holiday pay) for under 21s
Hospitality Assistant Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service to guests
- Serving food and beverages
- Maintaining high presentation standards
- Clearing and resetting hospitality areas
- Supporting the wider hospitality team as required
Kitchen Porter Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, utensils and catering equipment
- Assisting with kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
- Supporting chefs and kitchen teams
- Managing waste disposal and maintaining back-of-house standards
- Ensuring food preparation areas remain clean and organised
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months' experience in Hospitality Assistant or Kitchen Porter roles
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy event environment
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Candidates must be able to make their own way to the Old Course, St Andrews
