We currently have an exciting opportunity for a “Volume Planner” to join our Logistics Department
Purpose of Role:
- Daily reporting requirements
- Working with the wider team on tasks related to forecasting.
- Depot goods in planning.
- Enhance processes and develop the role.
- Collating and analysing data to plan future events such as Christmas and Easter requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide timely reporting to the wider department.
- Analysing data to support forecasting of depot pick operations of up to 5m cases per week
- Ensure clear communication of depot forecasts.
- Accurate goods in planning, including utilisation projections.
- Liaising with depot teams and supply chain counterparts.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- High level of numeracy ability.
- Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge / Experience:
- Knowledge and experience of Supply Chain & Logistics principals.
- Effective communicator.
- Results orientated.
- Logical and analytical approach.
