Vacancy;
Term Time only, Monday-Friday, 6pm-8pm
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries to ensure availability throughout the school day
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained to a professional standard
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Adhere to health and safety policies at all times, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Support the overall cleanliness of the school environment during designated term-time hours, ensuring minimal disruption to daily activities
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in a school or similar environment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and efficiency
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures related to cleaning tasks
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
