We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic and MOT Tester to join our team at Ben Kemp Ltd, we are based at Villa Farm, Watton Road, Norwich. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in their work.
We are offereing either a full time or part time postion. Full time hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. Weekends and overtime is avaliable if wanted. Part time hours would be discussed on interview.
Duties:- Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in compliance with DVSA standards- Identify and report any vehicle defects or issues- Perform necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure vehicles meet MOT requirements and any other mechanical work- Use tools effectively and safely- Carry out heavy lifting tasks as needed
Qualifications:- Qualified MOT Tester with relevant certifications- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with various vehicles- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and effectively- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in testing vehicles- Good communication skills
