Production Assistant – Signage

- £25,000 – £29,000 per year (depending on experience)
About Us
We are an established and growing signage manufacturer based in Bordon, supplying high-quality signage solutions primarily to the development and construction sectors. Working from our combined office and production facility, we design, manufacture, and deliver a wide range of signage products for sites across the UK. As our business continues to expand, we’re looking for a Production Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team.
The Role
This is a practical, hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be closely involved in the production process, working with a variety of machinery and materials to help create finished signage products. Duties will include:
- Operating large format printers, cutters and vinyl application equipment (full training provided).
- Assisting with the manufacture and finishing of signage products.
- Carrying out quality control checks.
- Preparing, packaging, and dispatching completed signage.
- Undertaking workshop and prep tasks such as painting, sawing, drilling and assembling.
- Keeping the workspace clean, organised, and safe
About You
No previous signage experience is required – we’ll provide full training. However, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and is keen to learn new skills
- Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Is practical and confident using tools and working in a hands-on environment
- Has good computer skills and is comfortable picking up new systems
- Has strong attention to detail, particularly when checking finished work
- Can manage their time effectively and stay organised in a fast-moving environment
- Communicates well with colleagues and contributes to a positive team atmosphere
- Has a good sense of humour and enjoys being part of a friendly workplace
Please note this role involves manual handling, including lifting heavier items and working on your feet throughout the day. Experience in signage, print, or a similar manufacturing/production role would be an advantage but is not essential.
