Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across industrial sites, ensuring a hygienic and organised environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently within a busy industrial setting. Previous experience with hand tools, power tools, or construction is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cleaning of industrial equipment, workspaces, and surrounding areas to maintain safety and hygiene standards
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist with cleaning tasks and minor maintenance activities
- Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of equipment as required for cleaning or maintenance purposes
- Remove debris, waste materials, and hazardous substances following safety protocols
- Support construction-related cleaning tasks, including preparing sites for ongoing projects
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and tools for efficient workflow
Requirements
- Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, or construction work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for all necessary skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Previous experience in industrial or construction environments is a plus but not essential
