Factory Floor Onboarding Support
Hours: 6:00am – 8:00am, Monday to Friday
We're looking for a reliable, organised person to help new starters settle into the business and support the factory floor teams during the busiest part of the day.
This role is focused on helping new starters settle in, making sure staffing information is accurate and providing day-to-day support during the first 12 weeks of employment.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming agency workers and new starters each morning.
- Issuing PPE and ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
- Showing new starters where they need to go and introducing them to their Supervisor or Line Leader.
- Checking agency availability and confirming labour requirements.
- Reviewing staffing information and checking the accuracy of the following day's staff lists.
- Spending time on the factory floor supporting new starters during their first 12 weeks.
- Acting as a familiar point of contact for new employees, answering questions and helping them settle into the business.
- Identifying any concerns early and escalating them where required.
- Building positive working relationships with agency providers, Supervisors and Managers.
About you
- Comfortable speaking with people from different backgrounds.
- Confident, approachable and able to build rapport quickly.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
- Happy spending time on the factory floor rather than sitting behind a desk.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
Pay: £12.99 per hour
