General Builder / Carpenter – Subcontractor
We are looking for an experienced General Builder / Carpenter (subcontractor) to work with us on a range of residential projects. Most work is site-based and includes carpentry, general building, some basic brickwork/ blockwork. We are looking for someone reliable who can work to a good standard and manage their own work on site.
Typical Work Includes
- General carpentry and building work
- Installing drylining / plasterboard systems
- Stud walls, partitions, and basic framing
- Roofing work where required
- Brickwork or blockwork repairs if needed
- Basic plumbing, drainage or finishing tasks when required
- Reading drawings and completing work to specification
- Keeping work areas tidy and following site safety rules
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry or general building
- Experience installing drylining / plasterboard systems, general building and carpentry
- Own tools
- Ability to work from drawings and instructions
- Reliable and able to work independently on site
- Good understanding of site health and safety
- CSCS card preferred
This is subcontract work with ongoing projects available for the right person.
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
