We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Trainee Nurse / Receptionist to join our dental practice. Duties
- Assisting dental professionals during patient treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Providing excellent patient care, including explaining procedures and answering queries
- Managing reception duties such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records
- Handling patient enquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintaining organised patient files and ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks including invoicing, billing, and stock management
- Adhering to infection control protocols and health & safety regulations throughout daily activities
Qualifications
- Prior experience or interest in patient care or nursing is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- familiarity with basic office software and dental practice management systems
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently and maintain accurate records
