Job Summary:
We are seeking an ideally already trained, skilled Barista to join our team, but primarily we would love you to love coffee and everything about it so you can really sing about it. As a Barista with us, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers by preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages. Your role will also involve maintaining a clean and organized workspace, handling cash transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt service and addressing any concerns or complaints
- Follow all food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene standards
- Keep the pastry counter topped up and assist with food preparation as needed
Skills:
- Regular Barista Skills such as Latte Art and Coffee Knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
