ENGAWA, a Japanese restaurant located in central London, is seeking service staff (waiters) to handle all aspects of front-of-house operations.
Under the guidance of Japanese Master Chef Hal Yamashita, you will have the opportunity to refine your service skills while providing guests with a truly memorable dining experience.

Applicants with bartending experience are especially welcome. If you have an interest in cocktails or drink service, this is a great opportunity to utilize your skills.Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages
- Front-of-house service for the restaurant and during events
- Bar service and drink preparation (experience welcomed)
- Assisting with planning and supporting seasonal or special event services
- Ensuring proper manners and hygiene in guest interactions
- Coordinating with the kitchen team and other staff
- Supporting presentations and service elements inspired by Japanese aesthetics
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurants, cafés, or bars
- Basic service skills (taking orders, serving, table service, etc.)
- Interest in Japanese cuisine and food culture
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Valid work visa preferred
- Bartending experience is a strong advantage

- Desire to provide guests with personalized and memorable service
- Polite, friendly, and confident in front-of-house interaction

- Location: London (High Street Kensington)
- Employment type: Part-time (3-month probation period, followed by review)
- Shift schedule:
- Wednesday–Saturday: 10:00–23:00
- Sunday: 10:00–18:00
- Monday, Tuesday: Closed
- Pay: Based on experience
