Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled drying and restoration technician to join our team covering London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, reporting, and implementing restoration schemes on properties affected by water and fire. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively in various environments.
Duties
Assess damage and determine the appropriate restoration methods.
Provide detailed reports and assessments of damage and works required.
Communicate recommendations and outcomes with customers and clients
Remove damaged materials such as plasterboard, flooring and insulation.
Clean and sanitise affected areas to prevent further damage or mould growth.
Install structural drying equipment
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Document work performed and report progress to supervisors.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Good computer literacy
Full Clean Driving License
BDMA Accreditation preferable
Basic level of education - GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent preferred)
Experience of Cleaning
Experience of Fire & Flood Restoration
Experience of building construction
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
