We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Residential Home Manager to lead one of our homes within Wellingtonia and help deliver outstanding care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

About the Role
As Residential Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one of our residential homes, ensuring children receive high-quality, therapeutic care within a safe and supportive environment.
Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will lead and develop your team, promote excellent safeguarding practice, ensure regulatory compliance, and help create positive outcomes for every child.
What you'll be doing
Ø Leading, motivating and developing a dedicated residential care team.
Ø Creating a safe, therapeutic and child-centred environment.
Ø Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and care.
Ø Supporting children with Autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
Ø Overseeing care planning, risk assessments and daily operations.
Ø Managing staffing, supervision, appraisals and staff development.
Ø Building positive relationships with families and external professionals.
Ø Ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and Ofsted requirements.
Ø Driving continuous improvement and promoting a positive culture throughout the home.
What we're looking for
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Ø A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Ø A minimum of five years' experience within residential childcare.
Ø At least two years' experience in a senior or management role.
Ø Experience leading and developing staff teams.
Ø A good understanding of Children's Homes Regulations 2015, safeguarding and Ofsted expectations.
Ø Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Ø A passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable.
