Watch Repair UK is a specialist watch-repair company based in a superb countryside workshop in Dunsop Bridge, in Lancashire’s Forest of Bowland.
We are a friendly, relaxed team of six people who take pride in delivering excellent workmanship and exceptional service. Our growing company offers a refreshing alternative to the pressure and formality of a large corporate service centre: professional and quality-focused, but personal, supportive and enjoyable.
We are looking for an experienced Watch Technician who can confidently perform common watch repairs and maintenance tasks to a consistently high standard.
Experience in a watch-repair workshop, jeweller, brand service centre or similar environment is preferred.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Replacing quartz movements
- Fitting glasses and crystals
- Replacing crowns and pushers
- Completing battery replacements and maintenance services
- Disassembling and reassembling cases and bracelets
- Resealing watches and carrying out pressure testing
- Repairing and sizing bracelets
- Diagnosing faults and assessing required repairs
- Conducting quality-control checks on completed work
- Maintaining excellent workshop standards
- Managing your workload efficiently and meeting reasonable productivity expectations
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Watch Technician or in a similar watch-repair role
- Is confident working with small, delicate precision components
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Takes genuine pride in producing high-quality work
- Is organised and able to manage a varied workload
- Is reliable, professional and self-motivated
- Can work independently while also contributing to a close-knit team
Experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage:
- Watch-case and bracelet polishing
- Working with luxury watch brands
- Water-resistance testing procedures
- Basic mechanical watch repairs

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
