Kidz Kabin are looking for highly skilled and experienced practitioners, to work with children in our Baby room (Under 2s). We are looking for 2 practitioners. One at our Pembroke Studios setting in Muswell Hill, and one at our Shropshire Hall setting in Wood Green. You should have at least 2 years experience within an early years environment and a qualification in childcare or equivalent. Qualifications from Non-UK countries that are equivalent and relevant to the early years are also welcomed and recognised.
As an Early Years Practitioner you should:
- Enjoy motivating children to engage in new activities
- Have a good understanding of how children learn and develop
- Be a team player and have a positive attitude
- Be familiar with and demonstrate an understanding of the EYFS (early years’ curriculum) or Development Matters
- Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication
- Complete effective assessments and observations which clearly show the needs and stages of development of your key children.
- Participate in parents evenings, and communicate regularly with families about their children
- Support children with outdoor learning
- Support children to build good relationships with their peers and adults
- Help children to become independent learners, encouraging curiosity and a love of learning
- Work closely with your room leader in carrying out daily tasks and organising the room
- Have excellent communication skills with colleagues, children and families

The hours of work are between 8am and 6pm - 4 days per week (36 hours)
