Overview
35 hours per week - 12- 8pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £27,500 p.a.
The main purpose of this role is to be the bridge between the drivers and the office, manage the collections from all our customers and ensure all parcels are loaded and sent on the evening trunk each day.
Duties include:
· Setting up the Warehouse for the evening parcels sort
· Managing the driver team throughout the day, helping with address checks and helping manage their routes.
· Assist the drivers in unloading their freight in the afternoon ensuring all boxes are accounted for.
· Managing a small team to wrap pallets and sort the parcels
· Driver daily de-brief with each driver
· Manage any returns and damaged parcels through the correct process each day.
· Assist in Customer / depot calls in the office where needed.
· Assist in customer / depot emails where needed.
Skills Required:
· Full UK driving Licence
· Forklift experience
· People Management
· Computer literate
· Physically fit
