Are you a passionate Head Chef looking for your next opportunity in a beautiful countryside setting?
Rock are working with a fantastic gastro pub that is looking for a talented Head Chef to take the kitchen to the next level.
This is a great opportunity for a chef who loves fresh, quality ingredients, enjoys creating dishes from scratch and wants the freedom to put their own stamp on the menu.
What you'll be doing:
- Creating and developing fresh, seasonal menus
- Leading and motivating the kitchen team
- Cooking with quality, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible
- Maintaining consistently high food standards
- Managing food costs, GP and kitchen budgets
- Ensuring excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Training and developing the kitchen team
- Working closely with the management team to develop the food offering
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready for the next step
- A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food
- Strong menu development and costing skills
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Someone who enjoys a busy gastro pub environment
- A chef who wants creative input and isn't afraid to bring new ideas to the table
