Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista/Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and food service, along with strong organisational skills to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide friendly service to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the barista station, seating areas, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Follow food safety protocols at all times, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained throughout shifts.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is desirable.
- Ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and contribute to a team environment.

We can offer either full-time hours (39 hours per week) or part-time hours (around 26 hours per week), with additional shifts available to cover holidays and functions.
We are a small team and often work under pressure, so you must be able to work well with others as well as use your own initiative.
Flexibility is essential, as the role will include evening and weekend work.
Pay: £12.71-£12.91 per hour
