My Tour London is the top-rated and best-selling tour operators in London on GetYourGuide and Viator, is looking for an experienced, engaging, and reliable Tour Guide to join our team.
You will lead visitors through some of London’s most iconic landmarks, delivering tours that are informative, entertaining, and culturally rich. If you are passionate about storytelling, enjoy working with international audiences, and already have guiding experience, this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading company in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-quality guided walking tours across central London
- Deliver accurate historical, cultural, and local insights in an engaging and memorable way
- Ensure visitor safety, comfort, and overall satisfaction throughout each tour
- Confidently answer questions and adapt your delivery to suit different audiences
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and welcoming atmosphere at all times
- Conduct bilingual tours when required
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (required)
- Fluency in at least one of the following languages: French, Italian, or Spanish (required)
- Proven tour guiding experience (required)
- Strong public speaking and storytelling abilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse, international groups
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Solid knowledge of London’s history and landmarks (or willingness to expand it)
- Must be self-employed and able to issue monthly invoices
Payment Structure
- Payment is made per tour, based on group size
- Payments are processed at the beginning of each month
- A simple monthly invoice is required
Bonus:
- Additional payment awarded for each 5-star review received
Scheduling
- Tours are typically assigned 2–4 weeks in advance
- Availability must be regularly updated via the scheduling application
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required if you cannot attend a scheduled tour
Additional Tour Opportunities
In addition to our core tours (British Museum & Changing of the Guard), guides must already be confident leading at least one of the following (no initial training provided):
- Street Art & Graffiti Tour
- Historic Pubs Tour
- Great British Rock & Roll Tour
- Royal Walking Tour (used on non–Changing of the Guard days)
Training for additional tours may be provided over time.

Pay: £40.00-£80.00 per hour
