We are looking for over 18 year old's to join our Food & Beverage Team predominantly for bar work. You will be supporting all three departments within the Hotel including events and restaurant work.
Duties include:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and care.
- Taking orders and serving customers at their tables.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and responsibly manage alcohol service
- Restock bar supplies regularly to keep the bar fully equipped for busy periods
- Handle cash transactions accurately, whilst operating our till systems effectively
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours and special events
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality or restaurant experience, with a passion for customer service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in beverage handling
- Excellent serving skills combined with active listening to meet guest needs promptly
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy shifts
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
Pay: From £10.85 per hour
