Job Title: SAP Consultant
Location: Birmingham / Remote
Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract, with potential for extension or permanent employment
Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 per annum
Experience: 3–5 years
Working Pattern: Remote-first, with occasional travel to Birmingham
The Opportunity
A client of ours is continuing to invest in its SAP environment and is looking for an experienced SAP Consultant to join its technology and transformation team.
You'll support SAP implementation, enhancement and continuous improvement activity, working closely with business users, technical teams and external delivery partners. It's a solid next step for an SAP professional looking to build deeper experience within a large-scale transformation environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the implementation and enhancement of SAP solutions
- Working with business stakeholders to understand requirements
- Assisting with SAP configuration and system improvements
- Supporting testing, deployment and troubleshooting activity
- Contributing to SAP transformation and optimisation projects
- Working alongside technical and functional SAP teams
- Liaising with external implementation partners where required
- Producing functional documentation and project materials
- Identifying opportunities to improve business processes through SAP
- Providing support and knowledge to the wider project team
Requirements
- 3–5 years' commercial SAP experience
- Experience working with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
- Experience supporting SAP implementation or transformation projects
- Good understanding of SAP business processes
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within a project or change environment
Meriting
- Experience with SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP or WM would be advantageous.
- SAP certification, or experience supporting an ECC to S/4HANA migration, would also be beneficial.
