Job Summary
Our client are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Van Driver The successful candidate will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles, primarily 3.5t Vans , to deliver goods efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safe and timely deliveries using 3.5t vehicle across designated set routes.
- Operate vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing of cargo during transit.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical checks to maintain optimal vehicle condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
- Assist with warehouse duties as required, including stock organisation and inventory checks.
- Provide excellent customer service by liaising professionally with clients during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving.
- Valid 3.5t driver’s licence or equivalent qualification recognised within the UK.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
