We are looking for a motivated, reliable and professional HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join our friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As one of our Class 2 Drivers, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and delivery of goods while representing Castle Freight professionally with our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV on daily collection and delivery routes
- Ensuring goods are transported safely, securely and on time
- Loading and unloading goods where required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or safety concerns
- Communicating with our transport team regarding deliveries, delays or any issues encountered
- Completing all required delivery and vehicle documentation accurately
- Ensuring compliance with drivers' hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph requirements
- Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers
- Taking good care of company vehicles and equipment
Pay & Earning Potential
We offer £36,000–£42,000 annual earning potential, depending on the hours available and expected working pattern.
Pay is made weekly.

What We're Looking For
Applicants should have:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
- A professional, dependable and safety-conscious approach to work
- Good communication skills
- Previous commercial driving experience
Recently qualified Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply, provided they have previous 7.5-tonne driving experience.
Experience with multi-drop deliveries and loading/unloading goods would be advantageous.
