Summary
We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Meon. In this role, you will be essential in providing exceptional service to our customers in our Busy Hot Food to go counter. We are looking for a fully flexible candidates who are available for both moring and evening shifts.This position offers an opportunity to be a vital part of our community-focused retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Serving our customers great quality food and beverages
- Cleaning tasks
- Prepping and selling Hot and Cold Food
- Opening and closing routines in the kitchen area
- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales.
- Manage phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support stock management and inventory checks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer focused food envirnoment
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Basic data entry skills.
- Knowledge of upselling techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
