BradburyART is an independent art supplies store and contemporary gallery based in Belfast city centre. We’ve been serving artists, students, hobbyists and collectors for over 30 years.
Our customers range from complete beginners to professional artists. They come to us for expert advice, specialist products and genuine service — not just a transaction.
The Role
( 2 days including Saturday)
We’re looking for a confident, motivated part-time Sales Advisor who enjoys working with people and has an interest in art, creativity or design.
This is a hands-on retail role in a specialist environment. You will be expected to learn our product ranges and give clear, practical advice to customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Advising customers on art materials and creative products
- Processing sales accurately through our POS system
- Maintaining strong visual standards across the shop floor
- Replenishing stock and monitoring low lines
- Handling customer queries professionally
- Supporting gallery enquiries when required
- Contributing to a friendly, knowledgeable team environment
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service skills
- Confident communication
- A genuine interest in art, design or creativity
- Good basic computer skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Retail experience is preferred, but personality, attitude and willingness to learn matter more.
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a high-volume, transactional retail environment. Our customers often need guidance. You will be expected to engage, ask questions and offer informed recommendations.

Hours:
- Saturday 9:00am–5:30pm
- at least 1 other full day during the week
Additional hours may be available during busy periods.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
