Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services and a strong work ethic, ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and fixtures.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards.
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed.
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is advantageous.
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and organised with good time management skills.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Working Monday to Friday , with alternative weekends(weekend work is only a few hours )
Pay: £12.21 per hour
