Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and organised Employment Adviser to support individuals on their journey back into work.
You will manage a caseload of participants, providing one-to-one support to help them identify goals, overcome barriers, and take practical steps towards employment.
This role requires strong people skills, digital capability, and resilience. Some participants may initially feel disengaged or unsure about returning to work, so your ability to build rapport and motivate others will be essential.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of participants and provide regular one-to-one guidance
- Conduct initial appointments to explain programme support and agree SMART targets
- Help participants develop CVs, job search strategies, and interview skills
- Identify barriers to employment and provide practical support to overcome them
- Working successfully to monthly performance targets
- Excellent digital skills and experience including the use of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Maintain accurate records and follow programme compliance requirements
- Work with colleagues and local employers to support participants into work
- Monitor progress and ensure participants remain engaged with the programme
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is confident supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
You may have experience in employability, recruitment, sales, customer service, education, or support roles.
You will ideally demonstrate:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to motivate individuals who may feel unsure or disengaged
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence working towards targets and programme requirements
- Resilience when dealing with challenging or complex situations
- A proactive approach to solving problems and supporting others

Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process includes a competency-based interview and a short role-play exercise simulating a first meeting with a participant. This helps us understand how you communicate, build rapport, and support individuals effectively.
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
