Ground screws are the future of foundations, offering the most efficient and eco-friendly alternative to concrete. Our growing business offers a complete foundation solution including ground screw testing & torque monitoring, foundation design and ground screw installation for residential and commercial projects, including ground mounted solar systems.
We are based in Westbourne, West Sussex where the successful candidate will report and be based at our facility; although the majority of time will be spent on site installations across the South East.
Job Summary:
Ground Screw Installers are at the heart of everything we do.
Our ideal candidate will be proactive, physically fit and enjoy working outside. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to read technical drawings and problem solve under pressure. Experience working in construction with an interest in ground works would be desirable as would skills or experience in landscaping or fencing.
This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency with both hand and power tools. Full training on our specialist equipment will be provided.
A full UK Driving Licence is required for this role.
Experience:
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in the installation process
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently for drilling, cutting, and fastening tasks
- Ability to read plans and follow specifications accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges during installation
