Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 4 Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to children within a residential setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, implementing care plans, and fostering a nurturing environment that promotes positive growth and behaviour. Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of support workers to deliver consistent, person-centred care.
- Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Support children with daily activities, including personal care, education, and recreational pursuits.
- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their emotional and behavioural development.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, and care activities in line with organisational policies.
- Collaborate with external agencies such as social services, educational providers, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times by adhering to safeguarding procedures.
- Participate in staff training programmes and contribute to the ongoing development of the team.
- Assist with transporting children safely using organisational vehicles when required.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in a residential or childcare setting is essential.
- Proven ability to develop and follow care plans effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with children, families, colleagues, and external agencies.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation duties.
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and completing documentation efficiently.
- A recognised qualification in childcare or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 4 or equivalent)
- Compassionate approach with excellent organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Pay: £14.00-£15.50 per hour
