As a Sessional Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring clients can safely and comfortably attend appointments, treatment sessions, and other essential activities.
This is more than just a driving role, it’s an opportunity to be part of a supportive team helping individuals rebuild their lives.
You will work flexibly on a sessional basis, responding to service needs and providing transport in a professional, respectful, and person-centred way.

Responsibilities:
About the role:
Transport service users safely to detox placements locally and nationally
Transport service users to residential rehabilitation services locally and nationally
Transport to medical and health appointments
Support prescription deliveries
Provide and manage risk for those at most harm in relation to withdrawal throughout the duration of travel.
Maintain professional, respectful, and non-judgemental approach always
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with service users
About you:
Has a valid UK driving licence held for 2 years plus, be over 25 years of age and have no previous driving convictions.
Has valid business insurance (if using own car)
Experience working with vulnerable individuals or community services
Understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality
Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities
Basic understanding of substance misuse
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Reliable, punctual and flexible
