Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal operational performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels
- Diagnose electrical faults using schematics and technical manuals, then develop effective repair strategies
- Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and optimize process controls
- Supervise maintenance teams during repair activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications
- Collaborate with mechanical teams to coordinate integrated maintenance efforts and ensure overall equipment reliability
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation controls
- Proficiency in welding techniques for electrical component repairs or modifications
- Mechanical knowledge to support troubleshooting of interconnected mechanical-electrical equipment
- Excellent leadership skills with supervisory experience in maintenance environments
- Effective customer service skills to liaise with internal teams and external contractors
- Fluency in English for clear communication and documentation purposes
- CSCS card required and relevant qualifications
