We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Swimming Coach to lead, motivate, and develop swimmers of all skill levels. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to foster a love for swimming while promoting safety, technique, and confidence in the pool. As a Swimming Coach, you will create engaging training sessions, monitor progress, and ensure a positive, inclusive environment for all participants. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help swimmers achieve their goals and enjoy the benefits of aquatic activity. You will be writing sets based on the cycle written by our other coach.
Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive swimming training sets tailored to our competition squad.
- Lead dynamic coaching sessions that focus on technique, endurance, safety, and teamwork
- Provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to help swimmers improve their skills and confidence
- Monitor swimmer performance during practice and competitions, tracking progress over time
- Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, motivation, and personal growth
Requirements
- Swimming coaching qualification is desirable
- Strong coaching skills with the ability to motivate our competitive squa.
- Knowledge of swimming techniques, safety procedures, and first aid certifications is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct swimmers and collaborate with team members
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or during special events
- Passion for promoting health, fitness, and aquatic safety among participants
