Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders efficiently and providing exceptional service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas and serving stations
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed to uphold quality and hygiene
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and keep lines moving smoothly
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee brewing techniques is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure safe handling of beverages and snacks
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for transactions and inventory checks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and customer service
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment
