We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Night Support Worker to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to adults in a supported living environment.
The role includes:
- Providing person-centred support throughout the night.
- Assisting with intimate personal care.
- Supporting individuals with their health, well- being, and independence.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring the safety and welfare of the people we support.
Occupational Requirement
Due to the nature of this role, which includes providing intimate personal care and support to female service users, this post is open to female applicants only. This is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Callaway Care and Support are taking over an established supported living service in Willesden and are looking for Support Workers to join the team.

The Service
Cranhurst Road is a supported living service supporting six adults with learning disabilities and autism, some of whom have complex needs and behaviours that require clear, consistent support and strong staff boundaries.
The service provides 24-hour waking support and is based in a well-connected area, close to local shops, transport, and community spaces. The people we support are encouraged to access their local community, build routines, and develop independence at their own pace.
This is a service where consistency is key. The people living here benefit from staff who are calm, reliable, and able to follow guidance and routines properly. Where this is done well, individuals are able to feel safe, settled, and more independent in their day-to-day lives.

The Role
As a Support Worker, you will be supporting individuals with all aspects of daily living, helping them to live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
This includes supporting with:
- daily routines and personal care
- accessing the community (shopping, appointments, activities)
- managing health needs and appointments
- building skills and independence
- maintaining a structured and consistent environment
You will be expected to follow care plans and guidance closely, work as part of a team, and communicate clearly with colleagues and senior staff.
This is not a passive role. You will need to be observant, reliable, and confident in maintaining clear boundaries when required.
Key Responsibilities
You will support individuals in line with their care plans, ensuring their wishes and preferences are respected while maintaining a safe and structured environment.
You will work closely with the team to provide consistent support, ensuring that approaches are followed and that any changes in needs are reported appropriately.
You will maintain accurate records and contribute to daily notes, ensuring that information is clear and supports safe care.
You will support individuals to access the community, attend appointments, and take part in activities that are meaningful to them.
You will promote independence wherever possible, while ensuring individuals are supported appropriately based on their needs.
You will follow all safeguarding procedures, ensuring any concerns are reported and acted on.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for individuals who are:
- calm, reliable, and consistent in their approach
- able to follow guidance and work as part of a team
- confident supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
- able to maintain clear and professional boundaries
- willing to learn and develop within the role
Ideally, you will have:
- at least 1 years’ experience in adult social care
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate (preferred)
- basic IT skills for record keeping
- a genuine interest in supporting people to live independently
Hours & Pay
- 37.5 hours per week - annual salary £24,999
- Shifts will include days, waking nights, weekends, and bank holidays
