Market Stall Supervisor – Moishe's Bagelry, Borough Market, London Bridge
£15.00 per hour | Full Time | 5 Days Per Week
Moishe's Bagelry is a family owned bakery and market stall based in the world-famous Borough Market. We bake and sell London's best bagels, challah and pastries, serving thousands of customers each week in one of London's busiest and most exciting food markets.
Please note: This is a market stall, not a shop or fixed retail unit. You'll need to enjoy working in a lively covered market environment throughout the year and be able to setup and pack down each day including lifting and carrying.
Working Hours
- Tuesday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Saturday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
- Sunday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
You'll work five days per week, including weekends.
The Role
This is a hands-on supervisory role where you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the stall.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering excellent customer service and leading by example.
- Creating attractive product displays that encourage sales.
- Maintaining exceptional cleanliness, food hygiene and presentation standards.
- Preparing staff rotas and organising the team.
- Liaising with the owner regarding stock orders and day-to-day operations.
- Training and supporting team members with product knowledge.
- Opening and closing the market stall including setup and pack down each day including lifting and carrying.
- Occasionally running the stall on your own, although most shifts are worked with another member of the team.

- Is friendly, confident and enjoys talking to customers.
- Has previous supervisory or retail experience looking to step up.
- Is highly reliable with excellent timekeeping.
- Is organised and able to work independently when required.
- Enjoys leading by example.
- Is happy to be on their feet throughout the day.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards.
