We are looking for someone with a great 'can-do' attitude to join us and become another integral member of our awesome team in this fast growing company.
The role is a hybrid role split between our BS7 workshops and on site in Bristol and throughout the south of England. You will be responsible for painting our buildings in the workshop ready for installation. On site you will be the cherry on the cake when it comes to finishing the buildings. Finish painting to a high standard using only Farrow and Ball paints, fitting trim, skirting board and occasionally flooring (training can be provided), Silicone finishing throughout, then fitting curtains, blinds, putting up shelves, and giving the building a thorough clean after. The idea is that the building should be sparkling when we leave a project and that will be down to you!
We are looking for someone with a painting and decorating background, who maybe wants a bit more of a varied role, and is keen to learn some carpentry. In order to apply for this role you must have
- 2 years painting/decorating experience
- Attention to detail
- A healthy interest in design and a creative nature
- you will need to be reasonably fit and strong
- a desire to learn
- an ability to work closely as part of a team
- a current UK driving license
- Ability to work flexible hours Monday - Friday
This role is split between site and workshop, so some flexibility in hours will be required. Standard working hours we aim for are 08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 to 15:30 on Friday with every other Friday off. This will be liable to change with longer days occasionally unavoidable due to travel times and project deadline. Working away may be a part of this role, with an average of 2 overnight stays per month. This is a full time PAYE roll paid hourly to reflect actual hours worked.
