Butcher’s Assistant
Slatters Butchers – Chadlington
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and friendly Butcher’s Assistant to join our busy team at Slatters Butchers in Chadlington.
This is a hands-on role within a busy local butchers, helping with the day-to-day running of the shop and supporting our team with preparation, packing, serving customers and general shop duties.
No previous butchery experience is required — full training will be provided for the right person. We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, works well as part of a team and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and willing to learn
- Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Happy working in a busy, hands-on environment
- Comfortable with physical work
- 18 or over
The role:
- 25–30 hours per week
- Our busiest days are Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- Pay is age dependent
- Full training provided
- Based at our shop in Chadlington
