Role: Children’s Support Worker
Location: Cardiff, CF15
Pay: £14.20 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Temporary Shift Work (35-40 hours per week, including 1 weekend per month)

Who We’re Looking For:
Whether you’re fresh out of university or an experienced support worker seeking a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re searching for individuals who are:
- Empathetic and dedicated to making a positive impact on children’s lives
- A graduate with a 2:2 or higher in any bachelor’s degree
- Experienced working with children, particularly those with additional needs (preferred but not essential)
- Passionate about SEND and creating inclusive, supportive environments
- Flexible, proactive, and great at communicating
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide nurturing, empowering care that encourages independence
- Support young people with a range of physical, emotional, and learning needs
- Promote social inclusion and engage children in fun, meaningful activities
- Build positive relationships within the home and wider community
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and external teams
- Keep accurate records and communicate effectively with the team
- Ensure a safe, stable, and encouraging environment where young people can thrive
- Take part in training and additional responsibilities (including sleep-in shifts and weekends)
