Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our team. Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation to meet quality standards
- Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and following recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen work areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Help with food safety practices, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Serve meals to customers efficiently and courteously when required
- Assist with stock control and inventory management to ensure supplies are well-maintained
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
- Follow all health and safety procedures to uphold a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards is desirable
- Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety protocols, and serving procedures will be beneficial
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and customer service is essential
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different roles within the kitchen setting
