Job Overview
We are seeking a Car Body Painter & Prepper to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by repairing, replacing, spraying and refinishing damaged body parts.
We are a busy bodyshop with a good long reputation, we are looking for the right person to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs and parts needed
- Remove damaged panels, bumpers, and other components using hand tools and power tools
- Repair or replace body panels, frames, and structural components with precision
- Sand, grind, and refinish surfaces to achieve a smooth, polished appearance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards throughout the repair process
- Occasional Collecting/delivering customers cars
Experience
- Proven Spray knowledge related to automotive body repair processes
- Time served in a UK bodyshop
- Skilled in operating power tools including grinders, sanders, and drills
- Ability to perform lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
- At least 2 years experience in auto body repair and spraying

Pay: From £25,420.00 per year
