Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures and seminars across various subjects while ensuring that learning outcomes are met.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding and retention of course material.
- Communicate effectively with students, providing guidance and support to facilitate their academic success.
- Assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and feedback, ensuring fair and consistent evaluation standards.
- Organise course materials, including syllabi, reading lists, and online resources, to create an accessible learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and departmental initiatives to improve educational offerings.
- Stay updated on advancements in your field of expertise and integrate relevant IT tools to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Qualifications
- A relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience in the business field.
- Proven experience in teaching at the higher education level is desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with IT tools and platforms that support teaching and learning processes is advantageous.
- PG Cert is preferred
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a business lecturer (pay rate will depend on candidate's experience)
