Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to effectively take orders and communicate with customers and staff
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling
Note: Previous experience as a bartender or in the food service industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn.
