Personal Assistant Wanted – Morning Support Before School
I’m looking for a kind, patient and compassionate Personal Assistant to support my 7 year old son in the mornings before school.
He is a happy, affectionate little boy who is non-verbal and autistic with significant additional needs, so I’m looking for someone who is caring, understanding, reliable and able to build a positive relationship with him.
Hours: Morning support before school
Pay: £14–£15 per hour
The before school shifts are double pay per hour
Employment: Can be on either an employed or self-employed basis
The role will involve supporting him with his morning routine, getting ready for school and keeping him happy, safe and settled before he leaves for school.
Experience with autistic children, SEN or additional needs would be beneficial, but the most important thing is finding someone who is patient, kind, compassionate and genuinely enjoys working with children with additional needs.
There will also be opportunities for additional hours during evenings, weekends and school holidays if wanted, although these are not essential.
We’re looking for someone dependable who could ideally become a familiar and trusted person in his life.
