Key responsibilities
Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and other materials.
Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Repair or replace damaged wooden fixtures.
Ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work independently or as part of a team.
Skills and requirements
Experience in Carpentry and joinery.
Strong attention to detail.
Good practical and mathematical skills.
Knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery.
Understanding in the health and safety regulations.
Working in either the workshop or on site or customers homes.
May involve heavy lifting.
