To ensure that the annual programme of maintenance and development is carried out and to contribute to plans for its future.
To lead and supervise the work of volunteers together with the supervision of other estates or project workers as necessary within the gardens.
Ensure footpaths, lawns, beds etc. are clean, tidy and litter free and ensure lawns are cut and hedges regularly trimmed. To carry out annual tasks such as tree maintenance, ground clearance, reinstatement works etc.
To welcome, and provide information as necessary, to visitors and the ability to communicate and promote the gardens through literature, written articles, speaking engagements, and including garden tours.
To operate, manage and control horticultural equipment and machinery ensuring its maintenance and good condition.

Pay: £13.45 per hour
