Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable people to join our expanding team of cleaners. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are presentable and welcoming. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
High levels of attention to detail are imperative for the role.
- Pay is dependent on age of applicants with hourly wage meeting new minimum wage requirements.
- Role would be suitable for school leavers, University students looking for summer work or those requiring a part time seasonal role - could lead to a more permanent role throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in high end holiday homes & clients properties.
- Laundry services; washing, drying & pressing of linen
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard, following established protocols.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Drive to various locations as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled cleaning tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between locations, however, not essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Self-employed role
- Working hours over 6 days, Monday-Saturday
- Yearly bonus
- 10-20 hours per week - all year round (Potential for more during peak season)
