We are looking for an experienced Internal Sales person with a background in electrical wholesale or a similar trade supplier environment to join our Rustington branch.
This is a key role within a small, close-knit team where you will be involved in all aspects of branch operations, including sales, trade counter, and warehouse activities, with a primary focus on internal sales and customer account management.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing and developing customer accounts, handling enquiries, preparing quotations, and progressing orders through to completion. Alongside this, you will support the day-to-day running of the branch, assisting on the trade counter and in the warehouse as required.
Working closely with colleagues and suppliers, you will build strong relationships and play an important role in the overall success of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
Managing customer accounts, including quotations, order processing, and project support
Delivering excellent customer service both over the phone and face to face
Supporting trade counter sales and assisting customers in branch
Assisting with warehouse duties, including goods in/out when required
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
Developing existing accounts to maximise sales opportunities and customer loyalty
Supporting branch promotions and local sales initiatives
Providing feedback and insights to management to support business performance
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience within electrical wholesale or a similar trade supplier environment is essential
A flexible and hands-on approach, with willingness to support all areas of the branch
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
A proactive and commercially minded approach to sales
Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
A positive team player who thrives in a small team environment

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
