Teesside
10–15 hours per week | £15 per hour | Permanent
Flexible / Hybrid Working
Leinster Property is looking for an experienced and motivated Lettings Manager to take ownership of the lettings process across our residential property portfolio in Teesside.
This is a flexible, hands-on role for someone with lettings experience who is confident managing their own workload and taking responsibility for getting vacant properties marketed, viewed and let promptly to suitable tenants.
You will work closely with our small property team and have a high degree of autonomy over your diary and how you organise the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of our vacant properties and working to minimise void periods.
- Photographing properties and creating effective online property adverts.
- Managing enquiries and screening prospective tenants.
- Arranging and managing the viewing diary.
- Managing the schedule of our company property viewer, as well as carrying out viewings yourself when required.
- Following up promptly with applicants after viewings.
- Vetting applicants and progressing suitable tenants through the application process.
- Preparing tenancy agreements and associated documentation.
- Completing inventories, check-ins and settling-in inspections.
- Ensuring the relevant lettings procedures and statutory requirements are followed.
- Keeping accurate records and providing regular updates on vacancies and applications.
From time to time, you may also be asked to assist the wider property team with matters such as property inspections, coordinating maintenance or contractors, tenant queries and general property administration.
About You
You will ideally have previous experience in residential lettings, property management or a similar property role.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is organised, proactive and takes ownership of their work.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is confident dealing with prospective and existing tenants.
- Can manage their own diary and prioritise their workload.
- Is comfortable working independently and using their own initiative.
- Understands the importance of following up leads and getting properties let quickly.
- Has good administration and IT skills.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel around Teesside.
This could suit an experienced Lettings Negotiator who is ready to take more ownership and responsibility.
Hours & Flexibility
10–15 hours per week at £15 per hour.
We can offer considerable flexibility for the right person. Administration can be carried out remotely, with local travel required for viewings, check-ins, inspections and other property visits.
The role may suit someone looking for a professional property position that can fit around other commitments, while still offering genuine responsibility and autonomy.
