Job Brief:
KSS NW LTD is recruiting Match Day Stewards to join our matchday team at Blackpool FC, based at Bloomfield Road. Successful applicants will be added to our matchday team and offered work at Blackpool FC home fixtures, helping to create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience for supporters, players and staff.
We're looking for people who can work regularly across the home-fixture schedule. Matches are mainly at weekends, with some weekday evenings, and availability will be discussed during the application process. Full briefing and role-specific guidance will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome supporters and provide clear, friendly assistance
- Check tickets and direct supporters to the correct entrances, stands and seating areas
- Help manage queues and the safe movement of people around the stadium
- Monitor stands, concourses, vomitories and designated areas
- Keep gangways, exits and emergency routes clear
- Observe and report safety concerns, incidents or anti-social behaviour to a supervisor
- Support safe ingress, circulation and egress
- Assist with emergency procedures and follow instructions from supervisors and the club safety team
- Provide accurate information about stadium facilities and matchday arrangements
- Follow KSS procedures and Blackpool FC stadium safety requirements at all times
Requirements:
- A positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with the public
- The ability to remain calm and follow instructions in a busy environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors when required
- Flexible availability for weekends and weekday evenings
- Previous stewarding, event or customer-service experience is desirable but not essential
